CV Book
Brief
A form of an Artists’ book is the fourth element of the personal identity project and is intended to provide a vehicle for the various components of your C.V. It could contain not only visual information regarding your experience and qualifications, but also your influences, aspirations and gallery of work. Clearly, the way it is presented, its content, design and ‘tone of voice’, are all important considerations.
In order to project yourselves fully, in interesting and entertaining ways, we are asking you to include your response to Rain Drops and Roses (these are a few of my favourite things).
You are required to include an answer to the following ‘favourites’ in interesting, stimulating, amusing and entertaining ways, through the cryptic use e.g. of symbols, metaphors, or quotations.
What are your favourite things…….and why?
- Tools
- Packaging
- Item from the pound shop

- Film director
- Magazine
- Piece of Furniture
- Dog
- Celebrity
- Recipe

Outcome
The C.V book will contain a gallery of work involving within the worlds of music, media, TV/Film, sport, advertising, events and for design-led brands. These are my favourite genres of work that I would love to produce in the future.
The challenge to design a powerful visual message is daunting but exciting at the same time. We should thrive on the task given to us and use our skill, knowledge and passion to create work which, has the power to make a difference to our clients and their products and services. To solve problems and ensure our work really communicates with the target audience.
